| HB 0181 (Truly Agreed) | Authorizes a transient guest tax in certain cities |
HCS/HB 181 - This act allows the cities of Sweet Springs and
Marshall to impose, upon voter approval, a room tax of not more
than 5% per night. The tax, if approved, will be used by the
city solely for the promotion of tourism and will be in addition
to any other tax authorized by law.
